Get to Know Amber

Amber Huntzinger holds an MSW from the University of Denver (2023) and an LSW from Ohio University (2018), specializing in Trauma Competent Care. She brings a wealth of experience, having worked with diverse populations in Ohio, both in person and through Telehealth.

Amber’s therapy focuses on trauma, anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem, blending strength-based, people-centered approaches with evidence-based techniques like CBT and SFBT. She also incorporates engaging activities like games and painting into her sessions.

Motivated by her upbringing and a passion for giving a voice to those in need, Amber is dedicated to helping clients find fulfillment in their lives. She’s particularly skilled in working with individuals aged 14 to 18, though she welcomes clients of all ages struggling with mental health and trauma symptoms.

On a personal note, Amber enjoys the company of her four dogs and two cats, loves to travel, reads avidly, and enjoys DIY projects like crocheting and watching a good television series.
