Meet Our Therapists

How To Get Started

1. Make The Call

When you reach out, our friendly reception staff will find appointment times that work well for you. We will call your insurance company to verify your benefits and provide you with information about our services. Prior to your first visit, you must complete some important documents, which can be downloaded here or mailed to you before your first session.

Self-Pay: Without using insurance, the first session is $150, and each session after is $100. For your convenience, we accept cash, check and credit cards.

Secure & Private Telehealth Appointments

For your convenience, many of our services are offered via telehealth. Foundations Counseling uses HIPAA-compliant Zoom for telehealth appointments. Clients do not need their own Zoom account. Clients will simply click on the link provided by their counselor to log into their session. Having a stable Wi-Fi connection is recommended for best performance.

2. Tell Your Story

During your first session, you will meet your counselor and begin sharing your story. Your sessions are private and confidential; we recognize the importance of your trust and are humbled to serve your needs. There are often opportunities during therapy to let go of things that have been troubling you for years. We want to help you as you take that first step. Together we will develop goals and a treatment plan to help you deal with whatever is bothering you and to help you find healing and peace. Please note that we cannot honor your confidentiality when there is a threat of harm to yourself and/or others.

3. Make a Plan

After forming a treatment plan, you will come up with three goals that will help make the plan successful. We will touch base about the plan at the second session and then get started.

4. Journey Toward Health and Healing

Emotional healing can’t be measured by numbers. We’ll talk about your progress from week to week and make adjustments to your plan based on your needs. We will always make sure we are on the same page as we move toward a healthier you. Professional therapy is a significant time commitment and financial investment into improving your life. Committing to that process is the key to success.
