Get to Know Madi Brooke
Madi Brooke Hannah (LSW) obtained her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Kentucky with a certificate in Clinical Social Work. Madi Brooke’s previous experiences of working at a psychiatric hospital and a substance abuse rehabilitation center provide her with a diverse knowledge of many unique populations. Madi Brooke’s specialties include grief counseling, trauma, eating disorders, and the LGBTQ+ community. She also enjoys aiding those with anxiety and depression disorders and self-esteem issues.
In her free time, Madi Brooke enjoys spending time with her four cats, Marlin, Maya, Toby, and Dany. She is fascinated with anatomy, especially the inner workings of the human brain. This fascination, paired with her own experiences in struggling with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and anxiety as a young person, motivated her to pursue the path of mental health counseling as a career.
Madi Brooke utilizes many different methods of clinical interventions, such as CBT, DBT, Mindfulness Techniques, Role-Playing Techniques, Person-Centered Approaches, and Inner-Child Work. She considers herself a life-long learner and is always looking to better her understanding of new approaches and theories.
Madi Brooke looks forward to helping clients reach their full potential and be their best self. To schedule a session at Foundations Counseling, call (513) 785-4895!
