Meet Heather Vandenbark
Hello, I’m Heather Vandenbark. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and I received my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina. I have two young children and have been married to my highschool sweetheart for almost seven years.
In my professional career, I have worked with a wide variety of people from 2 years old to 82 years old. I enjoy and am available to help children, couples, families, and individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and beliefs. My counseling approach focuses on helping you find hope and satisfaction within your life and relationships. I can help guide you to discover a way to heal from past traumas, to find hope in yourself, and to get to a point where you are self sustaining and able to move forward.
Fun Fact about me: I love being outdoors. Whether it is just sitting on my front porch swing or going for a 10 mile hike, I enjoy being outside. Being outside helps me relax and unwind. It allows me to step away and de-stress.
